Tea Research Association (TRA), Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Jorhat – the world’s oldest and largest tea research body – is hiring a Food Analyst! This is a great opportunity to join a NABL-accredited laboratory and contribute to the analytical and regulatory aspects of food safety.

🔍 Post: Food Analyst

• No. of Posts: 1

• Pay Scale: PB ₹9300–34800, Level 7

• Age Limit: Max 35 years (Relaxable by 5 years for highly experienced candidates)

📘 Essential Qualifications:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Sciences OR

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology/Food Science

• Mandatory: FSSAI Authorized Food Analyst Certificate

✅ Desirable:

• Training on ISO 17025:2017

• 2 years' experience in NABL accredited food lab

• Skills in trace analysis of pesticides, heavy metals, and contaminants

• Handling advanced instruments

📋 Job Role:

• Regulatory testing of food samples

• Preparation of test and project reports

• Participation in quality system of NABL-accredited lab
