🔬 About IPC:
IPC plays a pivotal role in setting drug standards through the Indian Pharmacopoeia and National Formulary of India. It also coordinates national programs like the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI) and Materiovigilance Programme of India (MvPI) to ensure the safety of medicines and medical devices in the country.

🧪 Position Details – Scientific Officer (Direct Recruitment)

• Number of Posts: 4 (03 – UR, 01 – OBC)

• Pay Scale: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (Level 10 as per 7th CPC)

• Age Limit: Up to 35 years (relaxable as per Govt. norms)

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification:

• Postgraduate degree in:

  • Pharmaceutical Sciences

  • Biochemistry

  • Biotechnology

  • Pharmacology

  • Microbiology

  • Chemistry

  • OR Associateship diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in analysis or research of drugs and pharmaceuticals in the relevant fields.

Desirable:

• Ph.D. in the relevant subject

• Published research papers or significant experience in drug analysis

• Proficiency in computer applications
