The Basmati Export Development Foundation (BEDF), a key institution under the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, is inviting applications for multiple contractual positions at its Demonstration-cum-Training Farm and State-of-the-Art Laboratory located at SVP University of Agriculture & Technology, Modipuram, Meerut (UP).

BEDF plays a vital role in promoting the Basmati rice sector through seed development, GI implementation, DNA testing, and quality assurance. It is also a key player in research and field-level training activities under national trials and AICRIP programs.

🧪 Job Profiles Snapshot

• DNA Lab Positions: Involvement in DNA fingerprinting, GMO testing, sequencing, and quality systems like ISO/IEC.

• Farm Positions: Basmati seed multiplication, field demonstrations, pesticide residue-free farming models, and stakeholder training.

• Marketing Consultant: Promote BEDF's laboratory and farm services for export growth and awareness.
